After Chiaroscuro, this one seems bloody vague although the character generation seems rather interesting. It would help to know more about his previous game as well as the background of the setting. The fact (assuming he's telling the truth) that it's worked already means it's got promise, so I wouldn't reject it just yet. He needs to provide more detail though. From what he's written it could be interpreted as medieval high fantasy, sci fi colonization of a planet, or anything in between. I'd suggest asking him to flesh out some detail, mostly so that people know if they want to join, rather than to determine if the game is good enough. If he responds coherently, give him his shot.
