Okay, for all the newbies... away back when, we had a basic template for Phoenyx web pages, and every game was required to have one, and that was its home page, no questions asked. As the web got more popular, we started to attract people who said "Geez, all that stuff is already on my web page and then some, just not in that exact format. Do I gotta?" and so we slacked off on the requirement for the strictly formatted web page. But, if you haven't got a web page, and you don't know where to start with a web page, well, the template is still around. Take a look at http://www.phoenyx.net/template.html and view the source. I wrote (still write) the HTML by hand, so it ought to be easy enough to edit with any text editor. (Don't forget to replace the two occurrences of "listowners" in the navbar at the top with your own group name.) Then you can just use either of the web editors from the listowners page to plop it in there as index.html (or, if you're not that brave, you can plop it in under a different filename and have me or someone else look it over before you show it to the world). For those of you that do have off-site web pages and were wondering what to stick in the Phoenyx index.html (which always exists, even if only to point to your main page, just because there's got to be *something* out there as a root directory for your files and archives), feel free to fill out the template for yourselves. It's a time-tested way to concisely give new/prospective players a feel for what to expect from your game. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
