In the course of rebuilding the Phoenyx web pages to update the games list (add ironclad, drop sixteen-which-never-got-off-the-ground), I was adding a new article to the front page. (The informal LIFO stack of articles is, I have learned, called a weblog or just 'blog. Who knew?) Anyway, I'm always open to suggestions for mini-articles to post there, being as how I'd like to keep that page fairly dynamic. They need not be Phoenyx-specific just because all the recent ones have been... as long as they're related to internet roleplaying and adequately cool. -- Karen J. The main-page critters, to further clarify, are more of a news-related
thing. They don't *have* to be time-sensitive: "This cool site has been
around awhile but I just discovered it" is close enough. They can be
announcements of in-game stuff ("The party has just discovered the lost
city of Foobar, and is about to uncover the mystery of why it vanished"),
if you want to remind people you're out there. Or "We just got our own
domain name, check out our web site."

I like this idea. Reminds me of the "'Lurker's Log" from RPGAMES.
How long should an announcment be? 50-100 words?

Who? Me?

At least, the part that goes up front. Longer stuff ends up with a "more" link. t>Who? Me? Yes, you. -- Karen J.
