The scheduled disk and OS upgrade on April 2 was unsuccessful. The disk upgrade itself went fine, but the OS upgrade failed due to IO errors on the CD-ROM drive... it looks like the upgrade CD has a few scratches on it. (I just used CD to install another system a few months ago.) This left the system on the new disk in a possibly broken state, so I reinstalled the old disk and we're back where we started from after about 90 minutes of down-time. Once I figure out exactly what the CD problem is, I'll reschedule the upgrade. (Carl, Phoenyx System Administrator) Sorry about the downtime without anything to show for it. I'd really been looking forward to getting this out of my way. -- Carl D Cravens (raven@phoenyx.net) Why get even, when you can get odd? -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
