I'm about to turn on the quota feature, since it seems to be working okay. What this is, is a critter that limits the number of messages per day that a user can post; anything over that goes to moderation. As with all the other moderation, the user setting overrides this, so if you have a user set to "open" posting, they can post over quota without consequence. This is mostly a feature for discussion groups and/or metered groups, and shouldn't really affect games... I've had it turned on (without actually moderating, just logging) for some time now, and nobody's bumped the ceiling yet (well, a few Bohavia and 7thorder people did when it defaulted to 5, so now it defaults to 10 and that seems reasonable). There are a few lists who already had a vestigial 5 setting from when I turned this on way back when (and it promptly rejected *every* message for being over quota, which is why I turned it back off), so you may want to check this whenever you next do group maintenance. It's unlikely it'll ever affect you, though (the aforementioned two high-volume groups are at 10 already), just something you can tweak when you happen to be there. I do *not* recommend setting it to an absurdly high amount, though... its primary intended function is to stop a mailbombing attempt (inadvertent or otherwise). Setting it to 20, or at most 50, ought to give your members all the leeway they should ever need. (Carl, at least one Fudge list member is going to run into this ceiling. You can guess who. I'm of the opinion that it should be left as is to give him a chance to cool off, but if you don't think so, you should up your limit.) -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
