Installed some new libraries in an attempt to fix some minor MIME bugs,
and instead they introduced some MAJOR bugs. It's all fixed now. At
least, the major bugs are... I'm not sure yet about the minor one.
(The minor bug is that it's not deleting all of its work files out of the
work directory when it's done... nothing that affects actual operation,
except I have to go in and clean a couple meg of scraps out of the
directory every now and again.)
Anyway, a few people got some mail rejected with an evil-looking series of
errors, all the result of a misplaced "my" in a stock library. You'd
think someone would have noticed before now; the library was updated on
the 12th...)
Oh, and I'm going to speculate that we might still see some mail delays...
SouthWind temporarily fixed the error with a workaround, but (unless
they've told Carl something new he hasn't passed along), they hadn't
established the permanent fix, so they're liable to be testing that today.
And remember, these things always come in threes, so we've had our
hardware failure, our software glitch, and now we need to have... uh...
I'm not sure what we're supposed to have happen now.
