I've used netscape.net and it seems to work very well.

Thanks for the tip off.

Anyone else had good experiences with netscape.net, good or bad?

Thanks for all your help.

Bye for now,

Nick

For the record...

netscape.net preference = 10, mail exchanger = rly-na03.mx.aol.com
...

Netscape.net's mail is handled by AOL servers. I know they used to be a
tad unreliable, but I don't recall seeing problems out of them for some
time. Karen?

They used to be unreliable when they were handled by... uh...
iname, I think it was. The main problem seemed to be that iname
periodically forgot its list of domains and started claiming it was a
relay. I haven't seen AOL do that.

Hotmail is the only completely unreliable server I've seen lately.
The others (chiefly Yahoo and sometimes iname-served ones) have
occasional delays, but no rejections. (The delays could
conceivably be up to four days or whatever our timeout is (Carl?),
though. But I don't think they've been quite that bad, even Yahoo...
less than 24.)
