Is the whole Phoenyx down at the moment or is it just my list? I can't access the Phoenyx website either at the moment. Bye for now, Nick -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners

I'm not seeing any gaps in our Apache log, at least on a quick cold- medicine-hazed lookthrough... looks like some people were getting through at all times. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
Er, none of the above, as far as I know. Oh well, it's all back to normal now, so no worries. Thanks for all your help. I'm noticing tonight that there were time periods today when virtually nothing in Europe, and a lot of NorAm stuff, was accepting mail. I'm wondering if there have been some net brownouts, although I haven't seen anything about it from the usual news sources. I wouldn't think it was our provider; they've got pipes to five different cities to prevent exactly that sort of thing. In fact, as I think about it, it couldn't be just us, because people who have forwarding accounts were having the same problem... even if *we* couldn't reach Europe, that wouldn't cause a problem if we delivered to, say, Bigfoot first. But the forwarders are reporting the same thing, looks like. Right now, I'm having trouble reaching a lot of US websites. Dunno what's going on. If it keeps up, I'll call SouthWind (upstream) in the AM and see if they have a clue. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
Hi Karen, In fact, as I think about it, it couldn't be just us, because people who have forwarding accounts were having the same problem... even if *we* couldn't reach Europe, that wouldn't cause a problem if we delivered to, say, Bigfoot first. Because I've been so tied up recently, the first I knew of the problem was when I had tons of mail coming in from players saying that they weren't getting anything. Sorry that I can't help you find an easy explanation for this. No, we can tell *something* is (was?) happening out there somewhere. I can see delays in hunting up a web address, sometimes even here in the States... it may take two or three tries to get through. At least, that's what it was doing this morning. Hopefully it's stopped by now. But it's not just the Phoenyx itself, at least. Of course, sometimes it's *better* when it's us, since it means we actually have some control... -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
