We had a strange problem with the list server this morning and it was apparently rejecting all messages. I couldn't track down the problem and seeing that we hadn't changed code in the past 24 hours, I rebooted the machine, which proved to be a quick-and-dirty fix. If your users get "unknown mailer error 9" messages related to the "fh_engine.pl", *please* forward them to me immediately. If you get any "unknown mailer error" messages, we'd like to see them because they almost always involve a bug in the Firehawk code, but if you see the above message, it's pretty critical. Sorry for the outage. I have to say, for a no-income hobby server that didn't even have someone onsite most of the day until June, the Phoenyx has an incredible uptime record. (Some of which involved driving home from work to do things that we couldn't do from remote when something went really wrong.) I'm rather disappointed when our level of service drops below the usual. I really hope this isn't a serious problem, because our programmer just went on vacation for a week this morning. (She and Nate are headed for Arkansas to see her mom and go to craft shows.) She can work on the server from her mom's, but it's annoying to do so and I hoped she'd get a break.
