I was informed of your entrance to "the Glitter and the Glamour" by the
Firehawk Software [2] provided by the fine folks at Phoenyx.Net.  Thank
you for joining us; I hope it will be as interesting for you as it is for
me.

I will be the GM, and your host for this adventure.  If you have any
questions about anything regarding the adventure or the mechanics (both of
the game or list) please feel free to contact me.  You can reach me at

"The Glitter and the Glamour" is an Amber DRPG game set far before the
Corwin chronicles.  If you are unfamiliar with Amber, please let me know!
I can tell you a lot about the system.  [3] More especially, if you are
looking for the Amber "web presence," you could not do better than to
visit my pages at  for
resources, campaigns, and other information.

[4] The thematic side of "GnG" [as I shorten it] is that Amber is actually
the land of Faerie.  Each character is "inherently magical."  I use that
phrase in quotations because it represents the look-and-feel of the
campaign.  This is not the type of campaign wherein you have 5 points of
the "nigh-invulnerability" power, 10 points in the "running with scissors"
skill, and 50 points in your "pure spunk!" attribute.  There are no
points.  The characters represent archetypes, the idea behind the
power...with all-too human results.

The webpages  are in
progress, and we will have a strong bibliography, as well as links to
on-line essays and articles to give you more idea of the "look and feel."  


Now that I've introduced the basics of the game, I need to know a little
about you.

Are you hoping to join the game?
Will you be lurking, "but leave the option open?"
Would you be interested in a "Behind-The-Scenes" subtopic, should I have
the time to indulge in contributing to it?
