To all on Phoenyx... This is Susan Nelson the GM of Cardassian Glory, I am thankfully in Wyoming and can report that all members of my group are ok. I think it is safe to say that the prayers of all members of Cardassian Glory go out to those who were affected by this. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Game(s): Cardassian Glory Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners/

I have *so* got to get the IP-mapping software online so we know (approximately) where everybody is. Come to that, this might be a good time to implement the "We want gamemasters' physical addresses" policy. I know MikeF is in Boston, and hopefully wasn't flying out of there today. Meera's in Colorado. Lynn's in Canada (and the laptop is probably grounded somewhere between here and there...), Tim's waytheheckoverTHERE, Nick and Juuso are waytheheckPASTTim, uh... that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Oh yeah, Chuk is another Canadian, Steve Almond's another rightpondian, and, uh... everyone else is a New Yorker, for all I can remember. Anyway, while I'm not suggesting you post your snailmail address to the list, we'd like to have one for you, preferably one that can accept packages. You never know when we might send out presents. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Game(s): The Whole Phoenyx Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners/

Yes, I am in the Boston area and no, I wasn't flying to LA yesterday. Unfortunately, one of the co-founders of Akamai (who was the boss and friend of one of our close friends) was. He died on American flight 11. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Game(s): Rumors of War / Science Fiction Category Editor Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners/

I (Chuk Goodin, GM for Alien Light) am also fine, being in approximately Vancouver, Canada. I live in the Baltimore-DC area, and was at home sick. I got progressively worse watching the news. Fortunately, everyone in my game appears to have come through this _relatively_ untouched even though we had friends and family in the area of the Pentagon. However, one player's ex-wife's new husband worked at the Pentagon and as of yet, he hasn't posted a follow up about his status. My prayers go out to those that have been hurt, killed or touched by this monstrous horror. I reserve my curses for nine types of hell on those that committed this act and thought to gain from it. I no of no Faedor members in harm's way, but Faedor plays host to two members of the U.S. Navy--one of them an assistant GM. Beijing for the next 8 months. About as far away from the action as you can possibly get without heading out into the atmosphere. All my players seem to be fine so far, as well, even the ones in DC. Still, at least three of my players are in the military or reserves, so I'm hoping they don't get sent out to hunt for terrorists in God-knows-where. Later.
