Strange. The wirebird.com job ran fine, ten minutes before the
phoenyx.net one, and both iterated through all the groups, but the
wirebird one has a success message after each one while the
phoenyx one has *neither* a success *nor* a failure message...
which doesn't make any sense to me, since I didn't think it could
finish the loop without doing one or the other (an uncontained
failure, maybe, but then it wouldn't keep looping).

Curioser and curioser. If I take the digest production bit out of the
loop, it runs fine. It's choking on a sendmail call (the same one the
regular messages use, so that makes no sense either). I'm off to
find out whether sendmail changed (unlikely but possible), or
whether there's a bizarre address somewhere confusing it.
