MGR: Excite@home is finally dead

I suppose I should have mentioned this earlier, but @home addresses
are finally, completely toast... so if you've got a player who's
fallen off your mailing list because of that, they're not going to
come back under that address.

Is/was Excite@home anything to do with excite.com, who are *still*
spewing broken HTML. I'm still having to forward all the posts from
one of my players :(

I imagine it had something to do with them, but I'm not altogether
sure what the relationship was. Some areas turned into attbi.com,
and others were supposed to turn into I-forget-what but the deal fell
through at the eleventh hour, I gather. I'm sure there's been a
Slashdot article on it, but I haven't paid close attention lately.

I'm going to have to work on the HTML filters. I'm presently
using... um... HTML::FormatText, and there may be either a newer
version, or a completely different method. Basically, all I need to
do is specify that Excite is *really* using text/enhanced or whatever
the "lite" HTML encoding is, and it should be fine. But right now,
the Phoenyx doesn't handle that method at all (fortunately, it's
exceptionally rare).
