Ah, but in this case it's the entire site (well, an entire set of
servers, at least) that's out of space.
We hit individual box limits all the time, but if somebody's not
reading their mail anyway, it really doesn't matter if they get
unsubbed temporarily. It's when people who *are* clearing out their
inboxes regularly *still* get bumped, en masse, that it's something
to be aware of, because it could theoretically affect active players
in a game.
Shortly after MS bought them, they went through a phase where they
were rejecting mail more often than they were accepting it, which was
a nuisance; we either weren't accepting Hotmail subscriptions, or
were sending warnings to people who subscribed, I can't remember
which. I think there's still a mention of it in the help files for
