MGR: And in other, more relevant news...

I haven't updated my blog yet, but:

Flamingo (the test server) is back online, at least until I try to compile
mod_perl and PHP into Apache at the same time again.

Web-based registration is this > < close to being done.

Email-based registration is slightly farther from being done, but we can
live without it for now.

Trivial bounces (times when the Phoenyx autoresponds to a spam address
which bounces) are rerouting to devnull instead of moderators.

Note to Debian Linux users. Debian won't install cleanly over an existing
system. You have to wipe out /usr, /var and the root file system or it
tries to create directories that already exist and gets an error of "an
error occured," which is, of course, very obvious and only takes about two
hours to figure out why your install isn't working.

I took a day of vacation to reinstall in the morning and hang out with the
family in the afternoon... spent far longer on the install than expected.

But it's back online, gosh-darn it.
