tyrell.net, but by the time we got the .us domain, we were with
southwind.net. I'm not sure we were doing the QWK-by-email thing on
Tyrell.
(tyrell.net was one of the first ISP's available in Wichita (possibly the
first regional ISP), based out of Kansas City. The guy that ran it was
really young... barely in his twenties. When tyrell.net folded, he was
charged with credit card fraud... he continued to bill customers accounts
months after they had cancelled their service. tyrell.net was the first
place I had access to a Unix shell account, and it's hard to remember
what learning Unix was like... and I remember resisting the graphical
web browser, because there just wasn't anything on the web worth firing
Windows 3.1 up just to connect to the Internet.)
