(Only 6,000 if you're a YEC, though.) Where'd you find it? news@phoenyx.net is the current news location, though I think it'll bounce if you're not subscribed to news@, so I suppose you should just send it to me. It's all sort of in transition right now, because it lives half on the new box, half on the old. And none on Dreamhost, it's looking like. The bandwidth is really nice, but the CPU limits aren't. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Game(s): The Whole Phoenyx Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners/

I'm clearly not a YEC... cosmologist and all that.... The link (or, rather, form target) was on: http://www.phoenyx.net/newssub.html This was in the 2003 managers instructions that Carl sent me the other day to go with the new socnone game. To be fair, Carl described it as "mostly accurate" :) -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Game(s): Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners/

Anyway, probably the best way is to send mail to news-on, send your news, then news-off. Or just stay subscribed; it works too. I think. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Game(s): The Whole Phoenyx Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners/

Hmm. I tried mailing to news-on@phoenyx.net and
news-on@robot.phoenyx.net, but both got returned as undeliverable.
Can you post the following news item ("accidentally" echoed to this list
in a transparent attempt to recruit other managers):
Fudge Planescape : The Society of None
This new PBEM will be set in the Planescape setting-- the "known
planes of existence" familiar to any longtime player of D&D. The
game will center around Sigil. All of the PCs in the game are
experienced planewalkers who have been around and seen bits of the
multiverse. They meet together in a sort of social club-- the
Society of None-- which is composed of people from a varieity of
factions and walks of life, but of whom are all experienced
planewalkers, and all share some degree of an individualistic
philosophy. The game will be based in Sigil, but will include
excursions to other planes.
See http://www.phoenyx.net/socnone/ for more information about the
game, for information about character submissions, and for
information about subscribing to the mailing list. (Lurkers are
welcome.)
