First post!!

Technically, I posted from the web awhile back, quietly and without fanfare.  But this is the first official post from a publicly accessible, fully linked web form.

It's not fully Gamehawk.  Even web posts are fed back into Firehawk's moderation system (because we haven't moved subscribers over, so no one would get the post by mail if we didn't keep Firehawk in the loop).  But it's a first step, and things should improve pretty much daily from here.

Now to see how it works for someone other than you posting a reply.

Heh.  Well, other than it has identities for you that go back into the
Stone Age.  Which is not a crisis, since nobody ought to see that address. 
I think.

Let me go slap a reverse sort on that, at least...

And a word wrap.  Definitely gonna need that, at least while Firehawk's
involved.

Well, Mike's reply came through, so that's another congratulations,
right? :)

BTW, Karen, where do you stand on quoting replies? Personally, I'm all
for showing some of the post you're replying to to keep things in
context, and in putting those nice little ">"'s in front of the text
I'm quoting. It must be my FidoNet background showing though.

Unlike Firehawk, Gamehawk distinguishes between Posts (that start a new
thread) and Replies/Comments, so News is now not a read-only list.  Group. 
Forum.	Whatever.  So if you're subscribed to this feed and are presently
going "Dude!  I didn't want chatter!" you'll want to change your feed to
the Posts-only version:

If you want a summary version (just the first bits of each message), I have
no idea why, but it's at:

http://www.phoenyx.net/news/summary.rss 

Now, if you want a summary version of just Posts, or some variant thereof,
it's very easy to produce... I just don't want to be building feeds no one
has a use for.
