The Phoenyx presently has eight games, of which two (by the same GM) are probably going to close, and one more went on indefinite hiatus last month. We have three administrative lists, including this one. We have three private lists for face-to-face games. We have two game-design lists. We have two game-discussion lists, one of which is Fudge-specific. We have (at the software's best guess) 560 unique, currently-subscribed users. On the one hand, this is pretty pathetic compared to past years (we've often been well over 2,000 users, for one thing). On the other hand, we haven't accepted new games in a very long time, so Darwinianly speaking, the lists and members we have left are quite good. Still no firm date on when the new software will be up. I've spent all week packing the house for the move... I'll have earned a just-sit-and- program day pretty soon. -- Karen J. Getting everything moved to garuda (the new server) has been a bit slow, since there's a good bit of yak shaving to do. It goes like this: To move to garuda, we have to be off MySQL. To get off MySQL, we have to be off Firehawk. To get off Firehawk, we have to be 100% on Gamehawk. To be on Gamehawk, we have to have digest mode. To have digest mode, we have to have the new Gamehawk release. And so, I've been working on the new Gamehawk release. And it's done (enough), other than I need to go have some words with the javascript that's trying to use the "j" and "k" as up/down keys, even when I'm in a stupid textbox. And yes, I'm using the web posting feature now. And this weekend, I think we'll move all the existing lists over, if the release doesn't come up with any showstoppers before then.
Yeah, it did, but the template had a hidden duplicate field that overrode it. Fixed now. Also fixed should be the realname thing, which should get my first name this time.
