New server ordered

Carl has ordered a new Phoenyx. The current box is a PII-400 with 192M
RAM, I-forget-how-much disk space (perpetually hovering at 98%, that's all
I remember), the new box will be a Sempron-1.8Ghz with 512M and 120GB.

And, perhaps most important of all, a shiny new install of all the
relevant software bits, many of which are dangerously out of date.

Let's hear it for changing jobs and cashing in unused vacation.

All the important bits have been kept up to date. And the kernel is
so old that nobody writes exploits for it anymore. :)

Hey! Perl is pretty darn important, and it's not up to date enough.
