Tried to respond and got this:

Permission denied

This error was reported at: Sources/Lib/FUNC.pm line 2247.

Please note that your 'real' paths have been removed to protect your

I get that when I just try to view the page.

Sorry, I copied the installation rather than installing it fresh, since 
ikonboard.com is down (again).  Of course, shortly thereafter I found the 
my copy of the installation .zip file, but by then I'd already done all my 
customization.

As is usual, the problem was Unix permissions.  For some reason, Carl 
won't let me just chmod -R 0777 * from the root directory, nor run Apache 
as root.  I keep telling him it would solve all my permissions problems...
